This is what I would call an online art gallery. There are a couple of different coding languages being use in this site. The main one being DHTML, and for image security Flash is used.

Specialty Mats
This is a small business that sells custom designed photo mat's. This site is also using mainly DHTML, which is perfect for a site of this nature and size. It makes for easy design and maintenance, resulting in low overhead.

CCGSA
This is a non-profit organization for a girl softball association This is what's called a web portal application. The coding language used here is PHP, which works very well for Ecommerce applications and Organizations like this. PHP is MySQL database driven, and is very scalable. this allows the site owner to have a more hands on approach and greater control over their site, thus lower webmaster fee's and saving you, the customer, money.
